Each team has to build a mini-golf (putt-putt) hole using materials provided. The twist: the materials are non-perishable food items, which are then donated to a local charity.
After the participants have created the course, and had a chance to play it, a winning team will be announced. The program then takes on a deeper meaning as a representative from a local charity is introduced to the group.
It’s revealed that the food items used to create the course will be boxed up and donated to the charity’s food bank in order to help those in need. So participants have hit “par for a cause”!
